- Employee Satisfaction Survey
We conduct an anonymous employee opinion survey every two years to ask about compliance awareness and workplace quality. The survey includes questions on their satisfaction with their jobs―hether they are fulfilling and provide a tangible sense of growth―ith their performance evaluations and other aspects of their work life. The first survey conducted in January 2013 was sent out to approximately 26,000 employees at 27 companies in Japan, and around 23,000 responses were received (a sampling rate of about 22% of employees at companies subject to the survey). The survey found that 73% of respondents were satisfied with respect to the above questions. Based on this, to further improve areas of current satisfaction and eliminate the factors inhibiting satisfaction, we have launched projects on improving working conditions, diversity and raising employee satisfaction under the Corporate Ethics and Culture Subcommittee. Through these initiatives, we aimed to raise the percentage of satisfied employees to 80% for the following survey in May 2015.
